BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS POLICIES

Bookings: 

Due to the limited availability of spaces, especially when previous clients are continuing with their training and the need to book venues for group classes, your place is not confirmed until you have made the course payment. We can hold your place for 1 week, after which we will allow someone else to book, unless we have heard otherwise from you.  This enables us to ensure that the spaces are filled, rather than get to the start date and have no client for that slot due to a client cancelling very last minute.

For continuing clients, we ask that you let us know if you wish to continue your training by week 4 of 6, especially if you would like the same slot.  The same booking policy as above applies.

Cancellations:

Behaviour Consults and Initial 1-2-1 Sessions:

If cancelled with 3 days, or more, notice we will refund 90% of the fees (10% for admin), 1 or 2 days before the session we will refund 50% of the session fees, 24 hours or less before the session we will be unable to offer a refund.  This is due to not being able to fill the session at such short notice.

Puppy, Beginner, or Continuation Courses:

If cancelled more than 2 weeks before the start date, we will offer a 90% refund (10% for admin). 1 to 2 weeks before the start date and we will offer a 50% refund of the session fees,  if cancelled 1 week or less before the start date we will be unable to offer a refund.  This is due to it being too short notice to fill the slot and, more often than not, we will have already turned someone away for the same slot.

Clients on Courses:

Once your course has started there is a no refund policy, do to it being too late to fill the space.  We may be able to move the day / time of your session, depending on availability.

Please note:

If, for some reason, we have agreed for you to pay for your slot / course at a later date and kept a slot reserved for you, the above cancellation policy still applies and, if you have not yet made a payment, you will still be invoiced as above.  Again, this is due to the inability to fill places at such short notice and it resulting in a loss of income, which isn't fair on any small business.  Most other courses / seminars have a no refunds policy from the start.
